Attention all HCPS Vendorbid.net registered vendors: you now need to re-register in VendorLink (https://www.myvendorlink.com/common/login.aspx).

Beginning April 8, 2017, Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) will utilize VendorLink, LLC for supplier registration and solicitation advertisement. If you have previously registered in VendorBid, you will need to re-register in VendorLink at https://www.myvendorlink.com/common/login.aspx.

Any solicitations not yet awarded on or before April 8, 2017 may be accessed via VendorBid or VendorLink. All new solicitations, posted on April 10, 2017 or later, will be posted via VendorLink. You may register and download solicitation information at https://www.myvendorlink.com/common/login.aspx. Please note: If you have previously registered in VendorBid, you will need to re-register in VendorLink. Existing registrations will not be brought over into the new system.

After June 30, 2017, access to the VendorBid system will be removed. All solicitations will be posted solely in VendorLink at https://www.myvendorlink.com/common/login.aspx.

The Jessica Lunsford Act requires all contractors, all subcontractors and their employees to undergo a Level II background screening, which consists of a FDLE/FBI search. Effective September 15, 2013 all individuals will be required to have the statewide JLA badge to access our sites. Site Administrators/Managers will be given the directive to deny access to anyone violating this procedure.   • Public Records: Any material submitted in response to this RFP will become a public record and shall be subject to public disclosure in accordance with Chapter 119, Florida Statutes (Public Records Law). Proposers must claim the applicable exemptions to disclosure provided by law, in their response to the RFP, by identifying materials to be protected and must state the reasons why such exclusion from public disclosure is necessary and legal. The District reserves the right to make any final determination of the applicability of the Public Records Law.
  • Sealed bids, proposals, or replies received by an agency pursuant to a competitive solicitation are exempt from s. 119.07(1) and s. 24(a), Art. I of the State Constitution until such time as the agency provides notice of an intended decision or until 30 days after opening the bids, proposals, or final replies, whichever is earlier.
  • HCPS collects your Social Security Number for the following purposes:  Identification and verification, employment qualification, tax reporting, benefits & retirement processing, unemployment compensation, and state reporting to the Department of Education. Social security numbers are also used as a unique numeric identification within some of our systems and may be used for search purposes.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING NOTIFICATIONS:  Since 8/1/2010 the VendorBid system has not supported receiving and sending information by fax.  A function to upload your W9 to VendorBid is available instead of faxing your W9 (click on W9 Files menu item).  Additionally, you will need to be sure you have a valid email address in your Vendor profile to properly receive any notifications from the VendorBid system.

  • Use a general email address or a group forwarding email box for bid notifications to avoid missing emails when staff is no longer employed by your firm or is out of the office.
  • Test the email communication between VendorBid and the email address on file by using the Forgot Password feature.  Be sure to check your spam/junk mail folder, if you do not receive that email it is very likely you will not receive any emails from VendorBid.  Ensure that emails coming from VendorBid.net are not blocked by any email security systems utilized by your firm or it's ISP.
